I received this little tip from designer Carey Evans...

I just wanted to share with you one of the details from our wedding
that I thought you might want to share on your blog. We got these
little tins in the "unfilled kit" for only .99 per, the lowest price
I've seen. It was super easy to fill them with our own candy or
mints, and then just easily place on the printed sticker. The quality
is great and you can't beat the price.

The customer service was great as well. I got to further personalize
my design without any additional cost by just calling them over the
phone. They sent me proofs of all of the design choices I was
interested in - so I was clear on my choice.

Save-the-dates should be sent from 6 to 12 months in advance to allow guests time to plan and budget for attending the destination wedding.

Enclose an itinerary with your wedding invitations so that guests will know what to expect.

Destination wedding guests are typically expected to pay for their airfare and hotel. You can help with the cost by negotiating group rates with hotels and airlines. Make reservations as early as possible as group rates are often based on availability.
