Wedding Spanish Lesson 101 :)

Spanish is the first language of Puerto Rico and English is certainly the second throughout the island.  But I figured if you are having a destination wedding on this "enchanted island" you should brush up on your Spanish, especially words that are relevant to getting married.  So here is your first Spanish lesson.  If there is a word or a sentence in particular you would like to know please feel free to comment and I will get back to you.  Gracias!

Wedding -Boda
Bride - Novia
Groom - Novio
Beach - Playa
Flowers - Flores
Love - Amor
Kiss - Beso
Hug - Abrazo
Married - Casados
Thank You - Gracias
Welcome - Bienvenidos
Hello - Hola
Goodbye - Adios
Matrimony - Matrimonio
Church - Iglesia

And here is a sentence that will thank all of your guests for attending your special day.

"We would like to thank everyone for coming so far to share the most important day of our lives.  Thank you! Now let's party!"

"Queremos extender nuestras gracias a todo el mundo por venir tan leyos y compartir en esta dia tan importante en nuestra vida.  Gracias! Ahorra vamos a gozar!"
