El Morro has a view like no other and has a history and life of it's own. The English and the Dutch attacked the Morro repeatedly in its time. Located on the San Juan Bay, the six-story fort was originally constructed in 1540, although its exterior walls were not erected for another 200 years. Inside the walls is a veritable labyrinth of chambers, barracks, hallways and prison cells. The fort was given a complete facelift in 1992 and is a classic spot for having a landmark wedding ceremony.

Location Spotlight "El Yunque"

I have a very special destination wedding package for all of you nature lovers out there. Imagine having your destination wedding at a chalet at the foot of the only rainforest north of the equator, The Caribbean National Forest, which is most commonly known as El Yunque (named after the Taino indian spirit Yuquiyu, and meaning the "forest of clounds").  This tropical rainforest is the only one in the United States National Forest System.  The forest encompasses over 28,000 thousand acres.  It is the largest block of public land in all of PR. The summit of the mountain reaches nearly 4,000 ft. and it is home to over 240 species of trees and plants, 26 of which are found nowhere else, numerous exotic flowers, birds and endangered parrots, streams, waterfalls and miles and miles of secluded trails.

For those interested in this very unqiue experience there is a very private chalet and bed and breakfast available to my clients (some restrictions apply). The honeymoon suite is located at the bed and breakfast on the same property and is quaint, immaculate and very lovely.  The hosts are friendly and extremely hospitable.
