Emplume was created by Carrie and Shannon while they were planning the details of Carrie's wedding. The women were looking for a fashion forward, unique alternative to the standard fresh flower bouquets. They soon realized there were no other choices available that satisfied their couture design sensibilities. They became intrigued by the idea of arranging high quality feathers, preserved floral, luxurious ribbon and a bit of sparkle into the most fabulous of bouquets!

With Carrie's background in Interior Design, and Shannon's background in Fashion Design, their unique creations were bound to be a success. Both are well practiced in ensuring the best quality from their products. Each of the women own and operate their own design studios, and both are accomplished seamstresses. Carrie and Shannon have applied their talent for dressmaker details and superior craftsmanship to create fabulous couture bouquets and accessories for the bride who is looking to extend her personal fashion sense beyond the standard.
Each Emplume creation, whether it be a bouquet, ring pillow, garter, or corsage, is custom made of the finest materials. Every element is hand-selected. Only real preserved floral and foliage is used, never silk or materials that will fade or wilt. Yes...They can be enjoyed forever!
