Hot Trend ~ The Big Picture

With the growing popularity of Internet photo sharing, brides can plan and share their big day like never before. Including uploading your wedding pictures and making your own wedding album, thank you cards and portraits. Choosing the right site that offers the services you will need is probably the biggest challenge. Here is my at-a-glance tutorial.

  • SHUTTERFLY - In addition to letting you upload wedding photos and email virtual albums to friends, this website also publishes a wedding blog with photography-related tips and galleries. You can also make cute products out of your images, from photo books to luggage tags.
  • FLICKR - Flickr's online community is the heart of this photo-sharing site. You can create profiles, upload pics, swap comments and tag favorites. You can also search photos posted by millions of other users to find inspiration ("destination wedding" returns almost 9,500 results).
  • PHOTOBUCKET - Use this site to make fun slide shows of your wedding away, enhanced by special effects and music. Then post them on your Facebook or MySpace page, or on a blog to share with your group. You and your guests can also upload your pictures into one group album, so you can relive your experience together wherever you all may be.
Helpful hints from your wedding planner,
